Last week I finally got to sit down and watch Country Strong (I’m still a southern girl at heart!). I fell in love with the Mac Duggal gown Gwyneth Paltrow wears in one of the last scenes of the movie – the feathers, beading and high slit made me swoon. It’s been a long time since I’ve posted a Splurge vs Steal on my blog — today’s contenders are so similar, they could be twins. The Splurge is Christian Louboutin’s Staratata which was released in 2010 and immediately sold out. The Steal is Jessica Simpson’s Evangela which retails for 1/10th of the Louboutin’s $995 retail price.
You may remember Theresa and Adam’s lovely wedding from Style Me Pretty. I wanted to share a few more photos and details from their big day. Their wedding was the perfect reflection of who they are as a couple – laid back and lots of fun. Their wedding took place at Rancho Las Lomas, one of my new favorite venues (hello, tigers!). It was the second time I got to work with the lovely Hannah of Modern Bouquet and the first time working with Harmony Loves Photography.
