At the reception, each table had it’s own unique mix of floral arrangements which popped against the ice blue shantung silk linens. The seating chart on multicolored fabric squares hung on vintage wooden shutters. The guest book was a thumbprint tree with a sign asking guests to “please leaf your thumbprint.” Sliders and fries were served as a late night snack followed by It’s It ice cream sandwiches, ending the night on a sweet note.

Hillary and Matt wanted their wedding to be a unique mixture of the country and the beach since she grew up around the ocean and he’s a mountain guy. Hillary wanted their wedding to evoke the feelings of “a country home with the ocean as the backyard.” Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla was the perfect location. The ceremony took place with an ocean backdrop on a big green grass lawn. Guests sipped iced tea and cocktails, and munched on cheeses from around the world.
