Yesterday’s post about the jeweled neckline gown got me all pumped up for J.Crew’s second collaboration with Lulu Frost.  Designer Lisa Salzer created brightly colored art deco-inspired pieces such as bangles, earrings, and necklaces.

I am obsessed with Melissa Blackburn’s creations ever since I ran across one of her designs on Amelia Lyon’s blog.   I’m only going to include photos of the gown that made my heart stop.   That jeweled neckline comprised of necklaces from JCrew is just stunning.  You’ll have to visit Melissa’s site to see more.

I’ve had my eye on the Merino Confetti sweater from J. Crew for a while now and snagged it the second it went on sale.  I am in love with the sprinkle of matte sequins over the classic sailor stripe.  If I were doing engagement photos at the beach or the Santa Monica Pier, I’d rock this with some skinny white jeans.  It also comes in navy but I opted for the graphite salt.
